Bambi has always been one of my absolute favorite Disney characters, and I am beyond excited that it is coming out on a special edition DVD this week! I’m totally buying it. Disney has provided me with these incredible printables to pass along to you to commemorate the DVD release. Here are diagrams on how to draw Bambi and Thumper, his adorable bunny sidekick. There are also two printable picture frames for little artists to feature their work!

Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Printables

Last week Disney flew me out to their studios in California for a sneak peek at the brand new Tinker Bell movie – Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue. I was with a tiny group of only 15 other moms, and the trip was truly unforgettable! Not only did we get a private screening of the movie, but we also got to meet the director, producer, art director and character animator. I even got to go onto their computer and animate Tinker Bell myself! I swear that ranks up there with being on the Today Show last year!

I have some more cool Tink content I’m going to post soon, but I found these printables on the Tinker Bell Facebook fan page, and wanted to share them with our Cartoon Jr. readers.

Phineas and Ferb Coloring Pages

My kids are avid fans of the Disney Channel show Phineas and Ferb – and I can hardly blame them. Dr. Doofenshmirtz is seriously my most favorite Disney Villain of ALL TIME. He is absolutely hysterical! He completely makes this show worth watching – yes, I admit I am an adult and am probably too old for cartoons – shush!

Sleeping Beauty Coloring Pages

Sleeping Beauty is one of my favorite Disney princesses, mostly because I remember being so incredibly enchanted with the Sleeping Beauty movie when I was a little girl. This is another one of those old posts that had links to other places and that I recently drew up a set of coloring pages to add. (I went so crazy with my computer drawing tablet last week that I even did some of my own illustration work after giving it up for 10 years!)

Disney’s “Tangled” Rapunzel Coloring Pages

I’m always, always excited when Disney puts out another full length feature cartoon movie. I honestly can’t believe that they haven’t made a movie out of the Rapunzel story before! I’m glad they waited – these days their heroines are much stronger and smarter role models than their classic characters. I can’t wait to see how fiesty their newest princess turns out! Though rumor has it that the new Rapunzel movie due out in late 2010 will be named “Tangled” so that boys might be willing to go see it as well.

Last year when I was in Florida, my friend Susan tipped me off to the best tourist tip ever for traveling to Orlando. She said to never buy Disney merchandise at the amusement parks, and instead hop over to the Disney outlets which can be found in several local malls (and now online, too!).
