Angry Birds Coloring Pages

My kids LOVE the Angry Birds game. I haven’t played it yet, only because I know I’ll get addicted and never want to stop! It’s been such a huge hit on the iPad/iPhone that it’s now evolved into a game for Windows and Mac, and even the PlayStation. I hear they may even turn it into a TV show or movie! I have to say the idea of a show about angry birds just sounds too funny – I bet whatever they do with such a great idea is bound to be good.

I know it’s been a while since I’ve added coloring pages here. I made the mistake of letting my kids play with my drawing tablet on my computer. Now that I have *ahem* replaced it, I’m drawing them again and we’re back in action!

Thanksgiving Books for Children

One of the more foolproof ways I can get my kids to read more is by buying them books with their favorite cartoon characters in them. We have heaps of Scooby Doo books from when my son was obsessed with everything about ‘those meddling kids’! And even though my daughter is seven, she still adores her Caillou books.

Thanksgiving is coming so soon, so here are some great Thanksgiving books featuring favorite tv and cartoon characters! My personal favorite is Charlie Brown. :)

Shrek Forever After Coloring Pages

We are serious Shrek fans in our house! Even my husband is more than willing to go see the Shrek movies in the theater, which is no small feat! I can’t wait to go see the new and final installment – Shrek Forever After – if only to see Fiona looking so hot and fierce! You go girl!

Two more exciting cartoon movies are also coming out later this year – and I’ve been having fun with my drawing tablet making coloring pages for them, too. So you might also like our Disney’s Rapunzel coloring pages, Smurfs coloring pages or these Yogi Bear coloring pages, too!

Halloween Books for Kids

The best way I’ve found to get my kids to read is to get them books from their favorite TV shows. So I’ve begun collecting great cartoon character books for kids around their favorite holidays. Since so many of the best children’s tv shows and movies are based on books, it makes it really easy to find books I know they will love to read!
