Yet another Disney Tinker Bell movie is coming out – this time Tinker Bell And The Great Fairy Rescue is headed for a DVD release of September 21, 2010. The movie synopsis:

Before she was ever introduced to Wendy and the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell met Lizzy, a girl with a steadfast belief in fairies. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue begins in summertime in the beautiful English countryside. An enchanting encounter unfolds when Tinker Bell is discovered by Lizzy, and as their different worlds unite, Tink develops a special bond with the curious girl in need of a friend. As her fellow fairies launch a daring rescue, Tinker Bell takes a huge risk, putting her own safety and the future of the fairies in jeopardy. This action-packed adventure takes the fairies of Pixie Hollow on a daring flight to London to save Tinker Bell and all of fairy kind.

Although this post has been up a while, today I’ve finally added 6 new Tinkerbell and fairy friends coloring pages that I drew up myself. I’ve been wanting to do these forever!!

I find Tinkerbell to be a fascinating Disney character. She is such a stinker in Peter Pan, yet somehow she is the most popular character in the movie! I think it’s the cuteness factor, because Tink is really one of the cutest Disney characters they have ever made!

This year, my seven year old daughter is all about Tinkerbell for Halloween. I’m guessing that because Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure is coming out on DVD & Blu-ray next week, a few more little girls will fall in love with our favorite fairy all over again! For my daughter’s birthday party this upcoming weekend, it’s going to be a ‘fairy Halloween’ themed party, so I’ve been digging up ideas to make her party awesome!
